20 Books of Summer 2023 – Sign Up Post #20BooksofSummer23 #SummerReadingList

I had such a sense of achievement last year taking part in the #20BooksofSummer reading challenge, I thought I’d throw my literary hat into the ring again this year! This year, instead of just reading the books, I’m going to endeavour to have the twenty reviewed before the end of August.

Hosted by Cathy@746books, the #20BooksofSummer is a reading challenge from 1 June to 1 September encouraging you to read up to 20 books from your TBR. Cathy herself admits that the rules are very slack and not to worry if you don’t manage to make it. Anyone is welcome to join in the challenge – just pick your 20 books (or 15, or 10) to read over the summer, write a post about them and then sign up to the page on 746 Books! You can share your lists and your progress on twitter using #20BooksofSummer23

I’ve already got a few blog tours booked in and have some advanced copies to read for their respective publication days over the next three months so they are automatically on the list….

That’s fourteen down, six to go… I’m not going to commit what the remainder will be other than there will be hits on #OperationNetgalley and some nonfiction titles will be on the list!

I’m going to post an update at the end of June and July with a final round up at the end of August/beginning of September so wish me luck!

Anyone else taking part? Any words of wisdom for this second time partaker??

  1. I’m doing this this year too. I’ve made up my list and my post is going out nearer the end of this month. We don’t currently have any crossovers 😊

  2. Good luck and have fun! I’m joining in again this year for the 7th time! I’ve got a draft post waiting until I decide on most of my books. One tip that works for me every year is changing my list if I don’t like the looks of my books. Also mini reviews have helped if I’ve got behind on reviewing. xx
