Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday!
WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words, the revamped take on of the meme hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm. It’s open for anyone to join in and is a great way to share what you’ve been reading!
The Three Ws are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What am I currently reading?

I’m back on #OperationNetgalley (there seems to be a pattern forming and we’re only two weeks into the new year). This time I’m on with Peter Swanson’s Rules For Perfect Murders. I loved The Kind Worth Killing when I read it a few years ago and when faced with a snap decision last night for a new read, this spoke to me! Here’s the blurb:
If you want to get away with murder, play by the rules
Years ago Malcolm Kershaw wrote a list of his ‘Eight Favourite Murders’ for his Old Devils mystery bookshop blog. Among others, it included those from Agatha Christie’s The ABC Murders, Patricia Highsmith’s Strangers on a Train and Donna Tartt’s The Secret History.
Now, just before Christmas, Malcolm finds himself at the heart of an investigation – as an FBI agent believes someone may be re-enacting each of the murders on his list.
Can the killer be stopped before they get away with eight perfect murders?
What have I recently finished reading?

It’s been a slow reading week. My head has been stuck in work mode far too much and I’ve struggled to switch off and escape into the worlds others have created for me. Saying that I did finish We Know You Know over the weekend so that’s another tick for #OperationNetgalley. Review will come soon!
I did however fly through The Perfect Match by Dandy Smith. The strange upside of work stress is my sleep gets more disrupted so that means I have more reading time even if it is at 5 in the morning! You can catch what I thought of this pacey thriller in a couple of weeks!
What am I reading next?!?

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s cover reveal, I’ll be diving into Kelly Golden’s The Perfect Girl with my blog tour stop being early February!
So guys, what have you been reading??
Peter Swanson and I just do not get along. It’s weird how that can happen, isn’t it?
Hope you’re able to switch off a bit more this week. Happy reading, lovely!

It is strange when you just don’t gel with an author’s writing but I suppose we can’t all like the same books and there have been times, I’ve loved one book by an author and another of theirs not!

That has happened too. As if some were written by someone pretending to be that author 😄.
