WWW Wednesdays (23 November 2022)! What are you reading this week? #WWWWednesdays

Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words, the revamped take on of the meme hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm. It’s open for anyone to join in and is a great way to share what you’ve been reading!

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

So I only started this as I clambered into bed last night so we’ll see if a comic time travel novel is my bag… here’s the blurb

The bestselling Christmas time travel comedy that takes us back to the glorious eighties. Forget sci-fi; this is a hilarious ‘Back To The Future’ set in England!

“Christmas, the eighties, and comedy. Three of my favourite things!

On Christmas Eve, 2020, 36-year-old Tash and her younger brother Jamie stumble on a toy ride their Grandad built when they were kids. How were they to know it would cause them to time-travel back to October 1984?

They arrive on the day that Bob Geldof watched the BBC news report, which moved him to form Band Aid and record “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”

Except now he’s missed it. Because of them.
So, there’ll be no Band Aid, no USA For Africa, and no Live Aid.

Jamie wants to find Bob and put things right. Tash wants to go straight back to the 21st century – she has a 5-month-old baby waiting for her.

What would YOU do? Go to your baby or feed a million others?

What have I recently finished reading?

That’s it! My blog tour reading for 2022 is done!! I love my trips to Black Rock Falls and Chase Her Shadow was no different. It’s a chilling investigation set at Halloween 🎃. I’ll be reviewing it as part of the Books-On-Tour on Monday 12 December so catch what I thought then!

With the 2022 blog tour reads done, I dove straight into a bit of festive reading having been in to Wakefield and seen the Christmas lights on Saturday evening and then we put our decorations up on Sunday (don’t judge me 🤣). I’ve started with a quick read from Chris Ewan – it’s my first taster of his writing but it won’t be my last!

This was quickly followed by The Secret Santa, Trish Harnetiaux’s debut novel which has been sat on my kindle for far too long! These last two reads will be reviewed in December (which is only next week) along with more festive themed reads!!

What am I reading next?!?

Let’s see where the next seven days takes me!

So guys, what have you been reading??
