Ssssqqquuuuuuuueeeeeeaaaaalllllll !!!! Yes it’s my turn in the blog tour for Jack Jordan’s Do No Harm. I’ve been rather excited about this since it was announced last year. I was blown away by Jack’s My Girl when I read it 6 years ago and I’ve loved his books since!

What Did I Think?
Oooof!!! A couple of exceedingly fast chapters in, I’m hooked! Not just hooked, more than hooked but I don’t know what the verb is so let’s go über-hooked. I don’t normally do thrillers with a medical vibe but I’m all in with Jack Jordan’s new thriller. A surgeon with a moral dilemma – save the patient or save her son? Abide by the Hippocratic oath or protect the most precious thing in her life? What a choice?!?
Anna’s predicament is not one I’d wish on my own worst enemy. How can you possibly chose to kill someone? I was desperate to see what Anna decided and the mountain of repercussions following her decision. What I should have accounted for (and didn’t despite having read Jordan’s previous thrillers) is one helluva ride down a dark and twisted path. I hit potholes and speed bumps but my journey did not slow down. It was like being in a rally car at high speed!
My initial reaction as I finished was bloody hell – what the hell have I just read?! I though Jordan’s My Girl was a twisted read (and it so is) but Do No Harm lulled me into a false sense of security before hitting me with one hell of a sucker punch of a finale!
Jordan’s thriller just keep getting better and better. And they get harder and harder to review for fear of spoiling the ride for another reader. Jack Jordan, Do No Harm is phenomenal. I’m just blooming glad I had my own major surgery before reading it!!!
