WWW Wednesdays (22 December 2021)! What are you reading this week? #WWWWednesdays

Welcome to this week’s WWW Wednesday! Yes I’ve managed to do a second week!!

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words, the revamped take on of the meme hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm. It’s open for anyone to join in and is a great way to share what you’ve been reading!

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

So I’ve got two books in the go at the minute. This only normally happens when I’m reading a physical book. When I’m awake early and can’t read the aforementioned tree book, I have a book in the go on my phone’s kindle app.

I was sent a copy of Dorothy Koomsom’s new book I Know What You’ve Done by the lovely people at ed pr. It’s already out in e-book (currently on offer in the UK), audiobook and hardback but it’s out in paperback in a week’s time. Here’s the blurb!

Do you have any idea what the people you know are capable of?
What if all your neighbours’ secrets landed in a diary on your doorstep?
What if the woman who gave it to you was murdered by one of the people in the diary?
What if the police asked if you knew anything?
Would you hand over the book of secrets?
Or … would you try to find out what everyone had done?

I Know What You’ve Done is the unputdownable thriller from the Queen of the Big Reveal.

I missed reading Christie Barlow’s last instalment in the Love Heart Lane series when it came out in the spring and with book 7(!!!!) out next week, I thought I’d catch up with my favourite Scottish community. Here’s the blurb!

Vet Molly has always been career driven and focussed on caring for her animals, but when she meets a gorgeous Mystery Man at a conference and their connection is off the charts, well, one night off work won’t hurt anyone…except the next morning he’s vanished and all Molly knows about him is his first name.

Three months later, back in Love Heart Lane, everyone loves the story of Molly’s amazing one-night stand. It’s so unlike her! But when Mystery Man turns up walking his dog through Primrose Park and their night together seems to mean nothing to him, Molly needs her friends and neighbours more than ever. And especially when she’s left with the most unexpected of surprises…

What have I recently finished reading?

I rather enjoyed my first taster of Juno Dawson’s writing. I’ve got a few of her books so I’ll be returning to her creations before long. My review for Stay Another Day will be up tomorrow.

What am I reading next??!

Well these two are the planned next reads. I bought Mrs Death Misses Death earlier this year and with it coming out in paperback in the New Year, I thought I’d bump it up the reading pile! I mentioned Christie Barlow’s seventh Love Heart Lane book was out next week, well I’m part of the opening day of the blog tour so Heartcross Castle needs to be read!

What are you reading? Read anything you want to shout about? Comment below!

Until next week… Happy reading everyone!

  1. I really enjoyed Heartcross Castle recently and I’ve downloaded the first three in the series in a Kindle boxset thing. Really nicely written but with attention to detail and practicality that I like. I’ve just finished Jenny Colgan’s An Island Christmas, another in a series I’m going to go back to fill in!
