What Did I Think?

It’s very difficult for me to review an anthology of short stories. This particular collection is packed with some of my favourite authors and also authors I’ve been wanted to read for a while. And then there are the authors who I’ve not heard of before!

I’m not going to review each and every story but the first one, oh my! The book opens with a heart tugger of a short from Rob Ashman. The emotion Ashman put into his story leapt off my kindle and dragged me in.

There is such a spectrum of tales from some well known writers of crime fiction. It’s the perfect taster of those authors you’ve seen advertised but never read. It’s also the perfect read for this incoming festive period; you can get a brew, read one of the stories and put it down again. This time of year it’s difficult to get quality time to read so the 5/10 minutes with your favourite hot (or cold) beverage and When Stars Will Shine will keep any crime fiction fan happy!
