Whoooop whoooop it’s the weekend!!! I hope you’ve got something exciting planned….but if you haven’t, why not treat yourself to a book….maybe I can tempt you with Steve Cavanagh’s Twisted. I’m thrilled to be sharing this blog tour day with my #glamma Jo Robertson over at My Chestnut Reading Tree.
Big thanks to Tracy Fenton of Compulsive Readers for inviting me on the blog tour and to Orion Books for my copy of Twisted which I received through Netgalley.
BEFORE YOU READ THIS BOOK
I WANT YOU TO KNOW THREE THINGS:
1. The police are looking to charge me with murder.
2. No one knows who I am. Or how I did it.
3. If you think you’ve found me. I’m coming for you next.
After you’ve read this book, you’ll know: the truth is far more twisted…
What Did I Think?
I’ve got to say, how enticing is that blurb? Yes yes, it tells you virtually nothing about the story but everything you need to know about what’s in store as you read Twisted! The hashtag that is being used in the marketing #ThisBookIsTwisted sums the book up perfectly!
I really don’t want to say very much about Twisted for fear of spoiling one helluva book. It keeps on giving with the twists. Just as I thought I’d figured it out, boom Steve Cavanagh throws a fresh curve ball into the mix. I spent most of the book stunned with what was unfolding before me.
I love Steve Cavanagh’s writing. Both Twisted and his Eddie Flynn series (yes Eddie is name-checked in Twisted, I can say that much) are addictive reads. Cavanagh has a way of kidnapping me as a reader and taking into the world he has created. I love to live and breathe his characters’ situations waiting with baited breath to see what will happen next. Twisted is one incredible rollercoaster of a book and I for one loved it.
