Miss wrong and Mr Right

I don’t know about you but I LOVE Robert Bryndza’s crime series featuring Erika Foster. I decided I needed to explore Mr Bryndza’s more sparkly writing and start with his stand-alone Miss Wrong and Mr Right.

The Blurb

Natalie Love has worked hard to have it all. She runs a successful London theatre that’s about to host one of Hollywood’s leading stars, Ryan Harrison. She’s pretty sure she’s found her man in yoga boyfriend Benjamin, despite his annoying habit of saying Namaste! every time he speaks. And her eccentric, glamorous Hungarian gran is always on hand to offer sage advice and steaming bowls of goulash.

Life in the bright lights of London has always been Natalie’s escape from her chaotic family in rural Devon and Jamie, the childhood sweetheart she left at the altar fifteen years ago. Until he turns up at her theatre door…

Jamie is in town producing a West End show and with rivalry suddenly clouding old feelings, this isn’t quite the reunion Natalie was expecting.

Will Benjamin prove to be Natalie’s perfect match? With Ryan turning her head, Natalie is more confused than ever. And what about Jamie – could he be her second chance at first love?

Charming, hilarious and totally unputdownable, Miss Wrong and Mr Right will put a huge smile on your face and keep you guessing who Natalie’s ‘Mr Right’ is until the very last page.

What Did I Think?

Right from the off, there is a wee bit of tension.  Natalie walks out on Jamie, her childhood sweetheart on the morning of their wedding.  Now that takes guts. The disapproval of a parent is a hard bullet to take but Natalie takes it on the chin for the sake of her own happiness.

Move on 15 years, Natalie is a successful theatre manager and Jamie returns into her life. But has that 15 years gap in their relationship helped either of them get over that very public spilt?

I was desperate for Natalie to be happy. She’s been unlucky in love and I just wanted her to find some happiness in her personal life.

Mr Bryndza has created an excellent supporting cast around Natalie.  I loved her relationships with Nicki and Sharon.  They are the ideal friends for this successful business woman. Benjamin is an arse – when you met him, you’ll see why I’ve just left it at that! I loved Anouska, her bluntness in her opinions.  She’s a breath of fresh air in Natalie’s life of chaos.

Robert Bryndza can not only write cracking crime thrillers but he can turn his hand to the lighter side of fiction.  I can’t wait to get to know Coco Pinchard and read about her antics in the author’s romantic comedy series.

Who Is Robert Bryndza?

Robert Bryndza is the author of the international #1 bestseller The Girl in the Ice. The Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller is the first book in the Detective Erika Foster series. The Night Stalker, and Dark Water are the second and third books in the series, and the fourth book, Last Breath, has just been published. In addition to writing crime fiction, Robert has published a bestselling series of romantic comedy novels. He is British and lives in Slovakia.
